Please note that there the section of trail through Kapunda adjacent to the historic mines can also be very busy with trucks when the weigh-station is open. This may affect the trail experience, especially for horse riders. The station is open during business hours during weekdays normally. Check times with Light Regional Council or arrange to follow Mawson Trail makers out of town the other side of the historic mines.
